EXTREME STIM PREWORKOUT
10X STIM is not for the faint hearted. At 24g per scoop 10X STIM is jampacked with ingredients that are backed by good science to help you get the most out of your workout. Most Brands will start by telling you what is included in their pre-workouts but we’re going to be different and start by telling you what’s NOT included in 10X STIM.
At 10X Athletic we don’t use:
Illegal & potentially unsafe stimulants. It’s just not how we roll. We pride ourselves on fuelling athletes of all abilities including Olympic and professional athletes. So, illegal or unsafe stimulants just don’t cut it with us.
Banned ingredients on WADA list. Enough said.
Proprietary blends. All our labels are fully transparent so you know exactly what you’re getting in every scoop. No nasties. No surprises.
Bad Science. Specifically we avoid using ingredients with poor science to back up their efficacy. Plenty of pre-workouts are packed full of cheap ingredients or ingredients with little or no science to back up their claims. We don’t do that.
Taurine. Did you know some brands add Taurine to their caffeinated pre-workouts and it actually makes their pre-workouts WORSE. Crazy, right? Did you know taurine and caffeine have opposite effects on your central nervous system? Caffeine is a powerful stimulant whereas taurine is an agonist for the inhibitory gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors. Did you know combining caffeine and taurine has NO tangible effect on your cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, power or cognitive ability? If anything it may have a detrimental effect on the pre-workout you are consuming. A 2017 study noted that combining taurine and caffeine actually INCREASED the feeling of FATIGUE. It Appears adding taurine to caffeinated pre-workouts is not a smart choice for the informed trainer who is looking for that pre-workout boost.

So what is included in 10X STIM:
8000mg Citrulline Malate 2:1 Looking for better performance, recovery, energy and more powerful pumps? Then citrulline is a ‘must’ in your pre-workout. Citrulline is a powerful (NO) Nitric Oxide boosting ingredient and has been found to be a more bioavailable and effective nutrient for boosting plasma levels of arginine than L-arginine supplementation alone. Before we go further let’s put the l-citrulline v citrulline malate debate to bed once and for all. There’s only one winner when you’re looking to maximize high intensity workouts and anaerobic performance. Unlike l-citrulline, studies have shown when subjects consumed 8000mg of citrulline malate they improved their performances during chest and leg resistance training exercises, increased repetitions & reduced their perceived exertion vs consuming a placebo. Additionally, subjects experienced as much as a 40% reduction in muscle soreness when compared to subjects that didn’t consume 8000mg of citrulline malate. Citrulline may also help your performance in the gym by reducing lactic acid accumulation in your muscles as it plays an important role in ammonia buffering.
3200mg Beta Alanine
